Obituary of Henry John Kern

Henry John Kern, age 78 years, passed away on July 9, 2017 in Vancouver, Washington. Henry was born to Henry and Pearl (Umstead) Kern on January 11, 1939 in Wiley, Colorado. He was a resident of Washougal, Washington for 30 years.

Henry was a Retired Naval Chief in the military serving in the Vietnam War.  He enjoyed collecting guns, shooting, hunting and Chevy cars.

He is survived by his son, Raymond H (Teresa) Mangs of Camas, Washington; brother, Jim Kerns of Seattle, Washington and 2 grandchildren, Rianna & Zachary Mangs.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Joanne, parents and brother.

At his request, no funeral service will be held.
