Obituary of Sylvia Flora Benink

Sylvia Flora Benink, age 81 years, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2017 in Camas, Washington.  Sylvia was born to Kenneth and Eveline (Bouwmeester) Mosbergen on December 2, 1935 in Jakarta Java, Indonesia.  

Sylvia adored her family and loved spending time with them.  Sylvia was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas, Washington.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and jewelry designing.  

Sylvia is survived by her husband of 62 years, Rudy at home; daughters, Eveline (Larry) McCarty of Camas, Wa, Marianne (Edward) McGinty of Terrebonne, OR; brothers, Gerry Mosbergen of Santa Maria, CA, Kenneth Mosbergen of Hemet, CA, Winston Mosbergen of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Theresa Jansen of Templeton, CA; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Eveline Mosbergen and brother, Harry Mosbergen.

There will be a private family gathering at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas, WA.
