Obituary of David Earl Townsend

David Earl Townsend passed away on March 22, 2018 in Vancouver, Washington. He was 61 years old.

David was born on June 1, 1956 to his parents Anna and Leonard Townsend in Vancouver, Washington. He was a lifetime Washougal resident and worked as a machinist in the automotive industry. David enjoyed traveling, bowling, and golfing. He was a member of the Beacon Rock Golf Club in North Bonneville, and the Senior Blue Golf Club.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Helen M. Townsend at home; his mother Anna Townsend of Washougal; son David E (Justine) Townsend Jr. of Vancouver; granddaughter EmmyLou Townsend; brother Daniel Townsend, and sisters Vicky Townsend and Shiela Shambo. He was preceded in death by his father, and his daugher Tabitha. 

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, March 31st at 2 PM at Brown's Funeral Home, with a reception to follow. He will be interred privately at Fern Prairie Cemetery. Please sign the online guest book at www.brownsfh.com
