Wednesday, June 27, 2018To the family and friends of Vern, I and Patties condolences. So very sorry to hear of his untimely death. Since we moved to Arizona a few years back have seen very little of Vern, but have many fond memories of him and I at work and out of the mill. Pranking co-workers, foggy ride over the mountain, darn near burning down a borrowed hunting tent and a midnight drive to Reno to name a few. Rest in peace Verno. See you on the other side buddy. Regards Norm and Patti Schroeder

Tuesday, June 26, 2018Having only met Vern a few times in Washougal, I still moved away from the PNW with the lasting impression of a very nice guy. The news of his passing finally reached me today in SC. I am saddened, but certain that he is comfortable in Heaven with our Lord, Jesus Christ. RIP Vern.

Wednesday, June 20, 2018I went all through school with Vern. Went on several bus trips to the casinos with Vern and others. Vern is such a kind and wonderful person. What a shame that he had to leave us so soon. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. We will not forget Vern, he will live in our hearts always♥️
