Obituary of Robert Chester Stroup

Robert Chester Stroup passed away peacefully on July 30, 2018. He was 91.

Robert was born on December 13, 1926 to his parents Sara and Chester Stroup, in Pollock, South Dakota. He was a 1 1/2 year resident of Vancouver, formerly of Portland, Oregon. He received his Bachelors of Art from the University of Oregon. Robert was a member of the Piedmont Presbyterian Church in Portland, and enjoyed gardening and handyman work. 

Robert is survived by his wife of 67 years, Clarice Stroup; their children Curtis (wife Sandra) Stroup and Janet (husband John) Stroup, 2 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, and his brother Brian Stroup. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Susan. 

No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the care of Brown's Funeral Home.
