Obituary of Donald J Roach

Donald J. Roach died peacefully at home in Camas on October 23, 2018 at the age of 83. Donald was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Gladys Roach and his sister Joan Brandt. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Constance Roach; his first wife Marion Roach; his children Michael (Judy) Roach, Louise (Dale) Kolibaba, Patricia (Gary) Eells, Alan (Kristi) Bar, Kevin (Amanda) Roach, and Jerome (Laura) Roach; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 10 nephews; and many other loved ones.

Donald was born January 18, 1935 in Trenton, Nebraska. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1956. Throughout his life he worked in many fields and often said, “I never had a job I didn’t like.” For 20 years he served the youth of Camas and Washougal, including his own sons, as a soccer coach and referee, taking teams to the state championship and winning.

Funeral service will be Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camas, WA.

Interrment will be held at Willamette National Cemetery, November 21, at 11 AM.
