I am so sorry for the pain of losing your dear Susan. Jehovah God truly understands the pain afflicting his servants, and he compassionately remembers their tears and sufferings, figuratively storing them up in his skin bottle.(Psalm 56:8) Please take comfort in knowing Susan is in God's memory and He will bring her back just as she was. (Rev. 21:4) Again, Please accept my deepest sympathies during this time of distress.

Sue was a kind and generous neighbor that always had a smile and her face and a friendly wave as she past our house. We will always cherish the pictures she shared with us of her sons and our son playing on the beach as kids. She truly will be missed.

Mrs. Tornow was my neighbor since I was 3 her son Cord is one of my best friends I have so many memories of their family I’ve had a hard time with deciding which ones to share. Some of my fondest memories would have to be her sense of humor she could make anything funny and I love how she would always laugh along at her own jokes. She was always kind whenever I would be up at the Tornow’s waiting on Cord to come play she would always offer me a pop or whatever I wanted in the kitchen she made sure you were taken care of. I loved going to the river with them Sue and Con always made sure we had a good time. I’m going to miss her coming up the street giving my parents a hard time about putting up Christmas lights and decorations even if my dad didn’t really want to that year Sue made it a point to say “come on Todd yours are always the best on the block”! I had my daughter about 5 months ago and when I heard Sue passed one of my first thoughts was that Addy wasn’t going to get to experience the great Sue Tornow chats when she was going home up the street or get to hang out with her on the 4th of July. Thank you for sharing Sue with us I’m sorry for your loss Con, Cord, Colette, Colin, and Chase I’m happy I was able to make memories with all of you and Sue also.

I always looked forward to seeing Sue. She was a fun neighborhood mom for my daughter and friend to Todd and I. She always showed me kindness and was willing to share a little fresh fish off the smoker with me, she knew I loved the warm fish so much! Conversations of gardening, animals, photography, kids and the population explosion in Camas were always hot topics. I have every card she made for us! She put our house in a snow globe on our Christmas card it is the best card ever. She captured my chickens on the old truck, and other pets on cards also. Her talents were never ending, yet she was always humble with her “yeah well” phrase with quiet laugh and a glance the opposite direction when complimented. Our entire family will miss the porch talks or drive by car window chats. We are very sorry for the family and friends to have this loss, we will cherish our memories, wishing we had been able to have made more.
