Obituary of Clayton David Reid Jones

Clayton David Reid Jones was born September 16th, 2014 in Vancouver Washington and was a lifelong Vancouver resident. His struggles with cancer ended on the 5th of July, 2019.

Clayton was a big enthusiast of public officials such as the Vancouver Police, Vancouver Fire Department, and Air National Guard, all of whom rallied around Clayton and his family to help bring joy and stand in solidarity with them through this hard time of his sickness. He was sworn in as an official Vancouver Police Officer, as well as giving him the opportunity to become active within the fire dept. and Air National Guard.

Along side all of the community’s support for Clayton was of course his large and adoring family. His parents Taylor and Ryan Jones, brothers Tegan, Conner, and Milez Jones, as well as sister Piperann Jones are taking care at their home in Vancouver Washington. He also leaves behind his biological father of Vancouver, WA, Corey Reid. Clayton had 3 grandparents, Maternal grandparents Jill and Brad Hartman, paternal grandparents Bob Jones and Ann Passant, as well as great grandma Margie Kingery, great grandfather Gregory Hartman, a great-great grandmother Darlene Hartman, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be held for Clayton July 18th 2019 at 12pm at Mannahouse Church. 14313 Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98687. Memorials can be made in Clayton’s name to either the Vancouver Police Department or Randall’s Children Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home. 360-834-3692.
