Obituary of Pete Howard

Peter William Howard, of Camas, WA, passed away suddenly at the age of 63. Family and friends surprisingly lost Pete on the day of September 26th, 2019.

Born in Germany to parents Roger and Herta Howard, and grew up with 2 siblings, Linda and Klaus. They were a military family and later moved to the States around 1963, where the Peter and his siblings then grew up. Peter went on join the Army himself, and served our Country as his father did. From there, he went on to graduate college with an AA degree in automotive technology, Pete later became a TriMet bus driver in the automotive industry where he continued to work until his untimely death. In 2000, Pete married his love, Gracie L. Taylor, and began a family of his own. Gracie Howard and him had 2 children, daughter Skye Howard, at home, and son Nathan Howard, also at home.

Aside from spending time with family, Pete also took part in the ATU 747 Agminated Transit union that was associated with his work in the transit industry.

Peter is survived by his wife Gracie, in Camas, Washington; his children, Nathan Howard and Skye Howard, both of Camas, WA; his sister, Linda Mauk of Milwaukie, OR, mother Herta, also of Milwaukie, OR; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Pete was preceded in death by his brother Klaus Howard, and father Roger Howard.

Services will be held with full military honors at Willamette National Cemetery, TBD, followed by a private memorial with family.
