Lyman Roy Montanye

Born July 15th, 1944

Passed October 19th, 2019

Met the love of his life, Marie Ellen Arlund in the summer of 1969 and married her the 11th of October, 1978. The next year, December 1970, Victor was born, followed by Isabella in December 1978. Roy and Marie celebrated 50 years of marriage this year, October 11th.

People he left to carry on his love, the love of his life, Marie, his daughter Isabella and her family -Levi, Samantha, and Luke. Victor and his family – Carla, Hellena, Glen, Katlyn, and Clara. Lifelong friends, Tim Walker, Kenny White, Clell Pruitt, Bob Pruitt, Howard Manake, Rudy Williams, and Sonny Westcott.

Roy was a lifelong fisherman; he spent many years hunting, fishing, mushroom picking, and driving the backroads. Roy retired after working for union 335.

Roy’s wishes were to be cremated with no wake. He wanted everyone to remember his life, not his death. He said that someday he will see us all again and you can have your say then. He is now with his father, mother, and sisters.
