Gary Warren Coffin, 80, passed away on December 15th, 2019 in Vancouver, Washington. Gary was born in Tacoma, WA in 1939. He would go on to spend his whole life as a Washingtonian.

After school, Gary held some interesting jobs and bounced back and forth among his main interests, such as doing contracting work for the Ag. Industry, becoming a bail bondsman, or spending his few extra moments repairing small electronics. Aside from work, Gary also worked to help raise a family, having 4 children. Family was important to Gary. He brought up 3 sons and a daughter all while cherishing the home his father built by hand on Fox Island.

Gary leaves behind eldest son Gary Coffin of La Quinta, CA, 2nd born Craig Stedham in Centralia, WA, his only daughter – Lisa (Mike) Edwards of Washougal, WA, as well as youngest child, Corey Don Coffin, living in Auburn, WA. Also mourning his loss would be his only sibling, sister Kathleen “Kathy” McGilliard and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Walter Shirley Maxine Coffin.

There will be no formal services held at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home. 360-834-3692.
