Obituary of Robert Gene Toops

Robert Gene Toops passed away on February 28, 2020 in Camas, Washington. He was 80 years old. He was a 50 year resident of the Camas-Washougal area. Robert was born on February 11, 1940 to his parents Elmer G.W. Toops and Nina Mary LaRocque in Columbus, Ohio. He was a veteran in the U.S. Navy and worked for the Federal Government as a Civil Engineer. He is survived by his daughters, Wendy Toops of Camas, Wa, Lainie (Rob) Michael of Camas, Wa; son, Bill (Pauline) Toops of Washougal, Wa; brothers, Elmer Toops of Camas, Wa, Bill Toops of Vancouver, Wa, Warren Toops of Boise, Id; sister, Kay Payne of Vancouver, Wa and 4 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Toops and sister, Sylvia Cathey. Per the family a service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown's Funeral Home.
