Obituary of Dennis French

Dennis French passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2007 in Vancouver. Born on November 22, 1946 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Dennis was 61 years old. A 23 year Clark County resident, Dennis lived the last five years in Washougal. He worked as a contractor in the construction industry and was a Veteran of the United States National Guard during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, building things, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Dennis is survived by his daughters Kathryn Samborski of Washougal, Francis Lee of Orchards, and Christina French of Fort Meyers, Florida, brothers Larry French of Rapid City, South Dakota, Terry French of Windsor, Colorado, and Richard French of Aberdeen, South Dakota. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 29 years Shirley French in 1998. There will be a private family service at a later date. Memorials in Dennis' honor may be sent to the VA Hospital. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
