Harvey Gordon Powell, 80 years old, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020 in Camas, Washington. He was a 49 year resident of Washougal, Washington. Harvey was born to Charles and Helen (Gordon) Powell on November 22, 1939 in Portland, Oregon.
Harvey served in the United States Army as a Staff Sargeant and he also served in the Army Reserves. He was a member of the Cape Horn American Legion Post 122, Washougal Eagles Lodge and the Riverside Seventh Day Adventist Church in Washougal, Washington
He worked in the Furniture Industry at Sealy Mattress making boxsprings, Wakenhut Security and Parlek breaking down plastic to recycle. He loved playing bingo, cribbage and collecting anything with Eagles.
Harvey is survived by his daughters, Julie (James) DeBoever of Washougal, Washington, Ramona (David) Jeffery of Kelso, Washington, Taunya (Steve) Anen of Vancouver, Washington; son, Christopher Powell (and his family) of Chelan, Washington; sisters, Karen (Ray) Thornton of Vancouver, Washington, Judith Jones of Washougal, Washington; 6 grandchildren.
He is joined in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Linda Powell; his twin brother Harley, brother Charles; sister and his parents.
