Mervyn LeRoy Ecoff, 89, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in Washougal, Washington. He was a lifelong resident of Clark County. Mervyn was born on August 3, 1931 in Winchester, Idaho to his parents, LeRoy and Bertha (Lehr) Ecoff. He worked in the Paper Mill Industry as a Head Adjuster and retired from James River Corporation with 43 years of service. He was a member of the A.W.P.P.W Local #5 in Camas, Washington. Mervyn was a Volunteer Fire Fighter with District #2 in Washougal, Washington. He was a member of North Lake Church in Camas, Washington. Mervyn enjoyed and loved his family. He liked to go golfing, fishing, bowling, softball and coaching baseball. Mervyn is survived by his wife, Marion at home; daughter, Lori Starkweather of Washougal, Washington; son, Greg (Alison) Ecoff of Camas, Washington; sister, Hazel Reude of Washougal, Washington; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Mervyn was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bob & Gary Ecoff; sister, Myrna Hauzenberger. A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 2 PM at NorthLake Church in Camas, Washington.
