Eliza Helena Melton, 88 years, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 at home. She was a resident of Camas, Washington since 1960. Eliza was born on June 6, 1933 in Hayward, North Carolina to her parents, Lon Ammons and Bertha Medford. She worked in the Woolen Mill Industry as a Weaver for Pendleton Woolen Mills in Washougal, Washington. She was a member of La Camas Heights Baptist Church in Camas, Washington. She volunteered at the Camas-Washougal Treasure House. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them. Eliza is survived by her sons, Roger (Cathy) Melton of Washougal, Washington, Wallace (Sandy) Melton of Mason, Iowa, Bobby (Susan) Melton of Washougal, Washington, Terry (Tami) Melton of Woodland, Washington; daughters, Sharon (Dean) Aarsvold of Mankato, Minnesota, Helen Townsend of Vancouver, Washington; sister, Patricia Sue Larson of Vancouver, Washington; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. Eliza was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby; son, Jimmy; 5 brothers, 7 sisters. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Friday, June 25, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas, Washington.
