Obituary of Peter Heffron

Peter O. Heffron passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2007 in Vancouver, Washington. Born on July 10, 1943 in Belfast, Ireland, Peter was 64 years old. A Clark County resident since 1995, Peter was a Veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed traveling, cars, painting, movies, being a history buff, and a Nebraska Cornhuskers fan. Peter is survived by his daughter Rose (Randy) Tomich of Camas, brothers Joseph Heffron of Tekoa, Washington, and Patrick Heffron of Norfolk, Nebraska, granddaughters Amanda Lee Tomich and Sarah Rose Tomich of Camas, and longtime companion Patricia Vails of Ariel, Washington, three nieces and three nephews. A Rosary Vigil will be held on Wednesday, December 12th at 11:40 am at St. James Catholic Church in Vancouver with a Funeral Mass to follow at 12:10 pm. Viewing will be held before the Rosary at 11:00 am at the church. Interment will be held at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Memorials in Peter's honor may be sent to the Ray Hickey Hospice House or American Cancer Society. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
