Obituary of Arthur Smith

Arthur L Smith Sr was born July 3, 1925 in Portland, Oregon. He Passed away on November 22, 2012. He was 87. Arthur was born to John L Smith and Ida May Peterson. He was a college graduate obtaining his Bachelor's Degree and later became a Certified Public Accountant. He was WWII veteran serving in the US Navy, and a lifetime member of the VFW post 7824 and the American Legion Post #14 of Vancouver, WA. He is survived by his wife Judy (at home), daughter Lynne Crowley of Gresham, OR; sons, Arthur Smith Jr. of Vancouver, WA, Eric Smith of Damascus, OR, Rodney Smith of Caribou, ME; 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and sisters Terry Hagen of Vancouver, WA and Esther Mitchell of Oregon City, OR. A graveside service will be held at Willamette National Cemetery at 9:30AM on Thursday, Nov. 29, and a service will be held later at Laurelwood Baptist Church in Vancouver, WA at 2PM. Brown's Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
