I had the distinct privilege of working with Walt Jr for many years at the papermill in Camas. With his big smile and his 4 alarm goodies he would bring in for the guys, it was always fun to work with Walt.
It is an absolute shame that he has passed so young and too soon...I still cannot believe it.

I was saddened to hear this news. Walt was a terrific person as well as an excellent Millwright. I was lucky enough to spend literally thousands of hours working with or around him. The world is a little less bright without him. Best wishes, if possible, to his family.

My husband Jimmy Sanders worked with Walt at the paper mill for around 18 years, he mentioned that he was sad to hear of his passing. Our deepest condolences go out to his wife Diana and the entire family.
