Obituary of Mark Gregor Schmid

Mark Gregor Schmid, 71, sadly passed away at home on March 12, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was a resident of the Camas-Washougal area for 65 years. Mark was born on November 6, 1950 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to his parents, Arnold Schmid and Katherine Hiemerman. Mark graduated from Camas High School in 1969. He served his Country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Georgia Pacific Paper Mill in the Kraft Department in Camas, Washington and retired from there. Mark loved trail riding, horses, roping, farm work and dancing. Mark was a Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend. Mark is survived by his wife, DeLenda at home; sons, Joel, Josiah; daughters, Jessica, Jamie Jo, Jacqui; brothers, Al, Ron; sister, MaryAnne; 11 grandchildren. Mark was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sharon Mitchell. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Friday, April 8, 2022 at 1 pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camas, Washington. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Washougal, Washington. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown's Funeral Home in Camas, Washington.
