Patricia Jane Hille, 85, died on April 18, 2022 at the St. Mary's Adult Home in Vancouver, Washington. She was a resident of Camas, Washington for many years. Patricia was born on June 21, 1936 in Nodaway, Iowa to her parents, Roe Van Alstine and Ethel Freuck. She moved to Camas, Washington at the age of 3. Patricia graduated from Camas High School in 1954 where she was in the band. She played the Piano, French Horn, and was accompanied by soloists. She was also in the choir and National Honors Society. Patricia attended the University of Oregon in 1954 for two years and was a member of Omega Chapter of Delta Zeta Sorority. In 1957 she married James Hille in Camas at the Camas United Methodist Church. While James was in the Navy they moved to Olathe, Kansas. From there their travels took them to many cities and states. After the Navy they moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1958 for two years. In 1960 they moved to Portland, Oregon where their daughter, Jayna was born in 1964. They then moved to Camas in 1965 and bought Van's Fuel Service from her parents. In 1976 they moved to Denver, Colorado. In 1978 they moved back to Camas. In 1980 they moved to Lincoln, Nebraska. In 1992 they moved to Yorkville, Illinois. In 1996 they moved to Casper, Wyoming. In 2000 Patricia moved back to Camas after James death. Patricia is survived by her daughters, granddaughters, and nephews (David and Janet Nydegger of North Little Rock, Arkansas and Jerry and Kathy Nydegger of Burlingame, Kansas), Cousin (Mrs. Judy Rogers of Milwaukie, Oregon), seven various cousins in the Midwest. Memorials can be sent to the Camas United Methodist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown's Funeral Home in Camas, Washington.
