Gloris Lou Kenyon Miller 89, daughter of Charles Davis and Blanche Mae
Madison Kenyon and sister to Avis Ileene Kenyon Boyle and Doyle Eugene
Kenyon, passed away Tuesday, June 7th, 2022, at Ray Hickey Hospice House.
Gloris was a graduate of Washougal High School, Class of 1952. She was a loving
wife, mother, and grandmother as well as an avid gardener. She was preceded in
death by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth Leon Miller, her parents, and her
brother Doyle Eugene Kenyon. She is survived by her sister Avis Ileene Kenyon
Boyle, son Kenneth J. “Jim” Miller and wife Karyl, daughter Lori Lynn Miller, and
grandchildren Jamie Michael Miller and wife Julie, Alexandra Marie Miller
Lavenburg and husband Andrew, and Kyra Loren Miller. She also has four great-grandsons, Graham Joseph Lavenburg, John “Jack” Kenneth Miller, Bennett
Alexander Lavenburg, and Oliver Jerome Miller.
Gloris is best remembered, by both family and friends, tending her flower beds,
crocheting and knitting for hours, and playing a multitude of card games. She
enjoyed watching the local professional sports teams on TV, watching the Bold and
the Beautiful (Do Not call her during the Bold and the Beautiful!), and working
word find puzzles.
Gloris will be sorely missed by her family members, close friends and neighbors
who loved her dearly. At Gloris request, there will be no funeral or graveside services.
