I worked as a Senior Judicial Attorney for Justice Woods at the California Court of Appeal from 1983 through 1988. She had a sharp legal mind and, perhaps more importantly, a warm and caring personality. I equally enjoyed discussing pending cases with her and chatting with her as a friend. Best wishes to all who will miss her.

Ms. Woods was cared for in her last years by a wonderful man named Roger Smith from Beaverton Oregon. He treated her with the utmost care. He lost of a wonderful friend. He was very in tune with her needs and went to all lengths to give her the very best care. I'm only writing this to let anyone reading this to know that she was very well taken care of in her final years by the wonderful man. He has many care needs of his own, but went to all lengths to keep his own needs to himself. Roger is now unemployed after losing her. Please keep him in your hearts as well.
