Obituary of Leonard Carlson

Leonard Milton Carlson, age 89 years, passed away peacefully at his home in Camas on March 14, 2013. Leonard was born to Frand and Anna Carlson on October 19, 1923, in Akin, Minnesota. He had been a Camas resident since 1973, and was retired from James River Paper Mill in Camas, Washington. Mr. Carlson was a member of NorthLake Church of Camas. Mr. Carlson enjoyed trains, baseball, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He also enjoyed spending time with all of his family. Mr. Calrson is surived by his wife of 63 years, Nora J. Carlson, his sons: Harlan (Linda) Carlson;Todd (Angel) Carlson; and Bill (Krista) Bocker; 5 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren; and Brother Walter Carlson. He was preceded in death by 8 brothers and 3 sisters. A Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at NorthLake Church in Camas, WA.
