Obituary of Marilyn Lorenz

Marilyn M. Lorenz went to be her Lord on March 30, 2013. She was 86. She was born on July 13, 1926 in Roseburg, Oregon to her parents Hubert and Mabel Mowe. She attended Camas High School and later went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Northwest Christian College. She had a love for education and went on to the University of Oregon and earned her Master's Degree. She eventually found her home in Camas, WA where she resided since 1990. Marilyn is survived by her husband Howard (at home); sons John Powell of San Diego, CA and David Powell of Portland, OR; daughters Robyn Powell-Fort of Santa Fe, NM and Deborah Dodd of Saudi Arabia; step children Steven Lorenz, Linda Stoller, and Karen Lewis; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, April 6, at 2 P.M. at Zion Lutheran Church in Camas, WA. There will be viewing at Brown's Funeral Home on Friday, April 5, from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. Brown's Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
