Everett Probyn McFarlane passed away Friday, January 25, 2008 in Vancouver. Born on July 2, 1983 in Denver, Colorado, Everett was 24 years old.
Everett graduated with Honors from Mt. View High School in 2002. He was a two-time winner of the African-American Highest GPA Award presented by Vancouver's Mayor Royce Pollard who shook Everett's hand. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness's and enjoyed reading his bible. Everett enjoyed watching UFC Fights, sports, dancing, reading health books, and spending time with his family, friends, and dog Tank.
Everett is survived by his father Probyn McFarlane of Vancouver, mother Linda McFarlane of Vancouver, fiancé Melissa Lucore at home, brother Kyle Lloyd McFarlane of Vancouver, grandfather Avery Vernon Burrell III of Woodbridge, Virginia, grandmother Truemiller Burrell of Vancouver, uncles Avery Vernon Burrell IV of Raleigh, North Carolina, William Burrell of Woodbridge, Virginia, and James Burrell of Jamaica, New York, great-aunts Patricia Burrell of Brooklyn, New York, Mary Melton of Windsor, Virginia, and Cynthia Banks of North Carolina, Lucinda H. Burrell of Chesapeake, Virginia, and numerous cousins.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Everett on Friday, February 1st at 7:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Viewing will be held on Thursday from Noon to 5:00 pm at the funeral home and all day Friday. Memorials in Everett's honor may be sent to any Jehovah's Witness's Kingdom Hall. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
