William Minton Obituary

William "Bill" Clarence Minton passed away on May 30. He was 90. Bill was born Dec. 12, 1922 in Ellensburg, WA to parents William and Mabel Minton. He worked for Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill as a supervisor. He was a Veteran of WWII in the Navy and a member of the VFW Post #4278 and the Vancouver Elks Lodge #823. He enjoyed golfing, flying and being a season ticket holder of his beloved Seattle Seahawks. He was very proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He is survived by his daughters, Dr. Kathryn McMahon of Los Angeles, CA, Carolyn Paulsen of Camas, WA, and Marianne (Ralph) Gianinni of Milwaukie, OR; sons, William (Diane) Minton of Vancouver, WA, Roger Minton of Vancouver, WA, and Donald Minton of Portland, OR. Bill has 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. A service will be held at Camas Cemetery on Thursday, June 13th at 11AM and a church service at Bethel Community Church in Washougal, WA to follow at 12 noon.
