Obituary of Michael McCord

Michael L. McCord of Camas, WA passed away July 13, 2013. He was 62. Michael was born on June 27, 1951 in Baker City, OR to his parents Perry and Juanita McCord. He worked for the State of Oregon as a program manager, and spent the last 15 years in Camas. He enjoyed boating, traveling, and spending time with his beloved dog Barney, and cat Clara. He had an affection for animals, belonging to the Southwest Washington Humane Society and Best Friend's Animal Sanctuary. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Julie (at home); and cousins Ben Estes of Portland, OR, Doug Srack, Dan Srack, and Pete Srack, all of Baker City, OR. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 20, at 11AM at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Donations may be made in his honor to Southwest Washington Human Society.
