Obituary of Clara Smyser

Clara Jean Smyser peacefully passed away on July 18, 2013 at her home in Washougal. She was 86. Clara was born on June 19, 1927 in Sheraton, Iowa to her parents James and Lucy Logsdon. She was a Washougal resident for more than 40 years, and worked as a CNA in the nursing field. She loved her family and enjoyed being a part of raising her children, grand children, and great grand children. She is survived by her daughters Laverne Morris of Washougal, WA; Sally Jackson of Jefferson, OR; Cathy Stark of Miranda, CA; Rhonda Trent of Independence, MO; Stacy Tipton of Washougal, WA; sons Billy Smyser Jr. of Brentwood, CA; Mike Smyser of Everett, WA; 25 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her first husband Paul Smyser, and second husband Billy Smyser, son Roger Smyser, and daughter Lovone Espe. There will be a graveside service at Washougal Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday, July 23 at 11AM. Brown's Funeral Home & Cremation Services was entrusted with arrangements.
