Obituary of Tom Harris

Tom David Harris peacefully passed away on Monday, February 18, 2008, at home in Washougal with his family at his side. Born on May 18, 1916 in Missouri, Tom was 91 years old.
A Clark County resident for 64 years, Tom was a Veteran of the US Army during WWII. His occupations included working as a roofing and siding contractor, home remodeling, and real estate agent. Other interests were growing Christmas trees, investing, watching the Seattle Mariners, and spending time with his family.
Tom is survived by his children Eva Dorlarque of Vancouver, David Lynn Harris of Vancouver, Thomas Wayne Harris of Jacksonville, Oregon, and Robert Harris of Lake Oswego, Oregon, nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and special friend and caregiver Rosalie Nicholson of Washougal. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 34 years Ruby Harris
There will be a private family service. Interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Memorials in Tom's honor may be sent to St. Joseph's Indian School: PO Box 100, Chamberlain, South Dakota 57325 or any Veteran's Organization. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
