Dottie D. Aslin went back to her Lord on Friday, February 22, 2008. Born on February 26, 1916 in Stella, Washington, Dottie was 91 years old. A lifetime Camas-Washougal resident, Dottie worked in the Converting Plant at Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill in Camas, and was a former employee at Pendleton Woolen Mills in Washougal. She was a member of the Camas Church of the Nazarene, the Washington State Grange-Fern Prairie Grange, 49er's Trailer Club, A.A.R.P. the Golden Crown Club and was an active volunteer. Dottie is survived by her son Larry Ast of Vancouver, daughter Donna Brookshire of Vancouver, step-daughter Sharon Uusitalo of Vancouver, brothers Lester Woodman of Vancouver, and Clifford Woodman of Idaho, eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Adolph Ast and second husband Pug Aslin. There will be a Celebration of Dottie's Life on Tuesday, February 26th at 2:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Interment will be at the Camas Cemetery. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
