Obituary of Patrick O'Connor
Please share a memory of Patrick to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Patrick M. O'Connor left this Earth on January 3, 2012 at his home in Washougal with his dogs in his lap in his favorite chair. Born on March 13, 1944 in Portland, Oregon to the late Bill an Vi O'Connor; Patrick was 67 years old.
Patrick was raised with his three brothers in Stevenson, Washington. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and then went to work for Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill in Camas. He retired as a lead man with James River Paper Mill after 37 years of working for the mill. He was also a member of the A.W.P.P.W. Local #5. Patrick was a great man loved by many. He loved life, loved to have fun with friends and family and enjoyed partying with them both "old and new", loved his toys and believed "he who has the most toyswins." The world will be a poorer place without his laughter and smile.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife Lynn, son Shawn, daughter Angel, and granddaughters Kayla and Kimmy.
There will be a celebration of Patrick's life on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the O'Connor residence: 1640 North T Street, Washougal, Washington 98671. The family requests casual attire for those in attendance. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
