Beryl Winifred Quigley Benton went to her Lord on Tuesday, July 24, 2007. Born on January 12, 1922 in Cathalamet, Washington, Beryl was 85 years old. A Camas resident since 1964, Beryl worked as homemaker raising her children. She was an active member at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas, and was willing to lend a helping hand whenever the church needed it. Beryl is survived by her daughter Patricia Mausen of Salem, OR, sons Donald Benton of McMinnville, OR, and Richard Benton of Camas, sisters LaRene Wiedeghdal of Cathalamet, WA, and Delores Cochran of Cathalamet, WA, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces, and nephews. There will be a recital of the Rosary on Sunday, July 29th at 6:00 pm at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 30th at 11:00 am at the Church. Viewing will be held on Sunday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Private interment will take place at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Memorials in Beryl's honor may be sent to Ray Hickey Hospice House: PO Box 1600, Vancouver, WA 98668. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
