Elden Willie Hinds of Camas, WA passed away on May 1, 2014. She was 97.
Elden was born on October 6, 1915 to her loving parents Richard and Lena (Taliferro) Whitehurst in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She lived in Moro, Oregon before moving to Camas. While in Moro, she attended Grass Valley Baptist Church. There were many things that brought joy to her life, such as gardening, sewing, upholstery, and most importantly, her family.
She is survived by her 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughters: Yvonne Nystrom and Elenor Sue Lund, and her son, Royce Leonard Freeman.
