June Eva Morton passed away peacefully on May 2, 2014, with her loving family at her side. She was 89.
June was born on May 19, 1924 to her parents Ernest and Kathryn (Brenn) Lutz in St. John's, Kansas. She has been a Clark County resident since 1961. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, 4-H, collecting rocks, a volunteer for SNAP Organization, and raising her family. She is survived by her son: Randy Morton of Arizona, Rodney Morton of Vancouver, WA; daughter: Reita Hammers of Vancouver, WA and Pamela Sue Rogers of Vancouver, WA; sisters: Clara Hathaway of Pennsylvania; Mary Gibson of Colorado; Ernestine Rudy of Kansas; Annetta Schwalm of Colorado; 8 grandchildren; 13 Great-Grandchild; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Perry Morton and her brother, Eldon Lutz.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service on May 10, 2014 at Brown's Funeral Home at 2PM. There will be a graveside service held on Tuesday, May 13, at 10:30AM at Willamette National Cemetery.
