Julia Anne Case-Gonchoroff passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in Portland. Born on August 28, 1967 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, Julia was 40 years old.
A resident of Portland for the last ten months, Julia was formerly of North Hampton, Massachusetts, and Myerstown, Pennsylvania. She was a Veteran of the United States Navy during the Persian Gulf War and a former member of the Society of Friends for Quakers. She enjoyed programming, mathematics, bowling, watching movies and TV.
Julia is survived by her partner Maria Case-Gonchoroff at home, parents Sharon Bender of Myerstown, Pennsylvania, Kenneth Simmons of Myerstown, Pennsylvania, brother Steven Simmons of Pennsylvania, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
There will be a memorial service for Julia at a later date. Memorials in her honor may be sent to Project Pooch: 406 A Ave, Lake Oswego, OR 97034.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
