Obituary of Virginia Stevens

Virginia Ann Stevens went back to her Lord on Monday, April 28, 2008. Born on February 24, 1928 in Hopedale, Illinois, Virginia was 80 years old. A longtime resident of Camas, Virginia worked as a waitress at Jo's Restaurant in Washougal, the Camas-Washougal Post Record, and for the Camas School District. She was an active member of Lacamas Heights Baptist Church in Camas. She enjoyed watching the Seattle Mariners, camping, and making trips to Seaside Beach. Most of all, Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Roy at home, sons Mike (Yvonne) Stevens, Bill (Sandy) Stevens, daughter Cindy (Richard) Page, sisters Mary Rowell and Dorothy Graber, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Virginia on Friday, May 2nd at Lacamas Heights Baptist Church in Camas at 2:00 pm. Inurnment will follow at the Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas. Memorial donations in Virginia's honor may be sent to the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
