Rita Alice Sandau peacefully passed away on Monday, April 28, 2008 in Vancouver. Born on August 18, 1920 in Huntington, Utah, Rita was 87 years old.
A 24 year resident of Camas, Rita was formerly of Sutherland, Oregon and Oakland, Oregon. Rita was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed gardening, raising poodles, watching show about architecture, painting, and most importantly spending time with her family.
Rita is survived by her son Richard Paxton of Camas, daughters Janet Barraza of Vancouver and Mikki Gary of Camas, sister Jenny Wershey of Vancouver, brothers Fred Lott of Roseburg, Oregon, Jack Lott of Sutherland, Oregon, Hugh Lott of Black Foot, Idaho, and Clive Lott of Black Foot, Idaho, five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Paxton and second husband Robert Sandau.
There will be a private family service at a later date. Memorials in Rita's honor may be sent to the charity of choice.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
