Noma Armetta Ostenson passed away August 26, 2014. She was 91 years old. Noma was born on July 27, 1923 in Roseburg, Oregon, to her parents Gus and Velma Smith. She spent her working life as a secretary at Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill. She was a lifetime resident of Camas, and a member of the Baptist Church. She also spent many years with the Soroptimist Club, and enjoyed bean-bag baseball and bingo at Glenwood Place. She was loved by many and will be missed. She leaves behind her Sons, Brian and Lon Ostenson, daughter Karen Pettyjohn, as well as seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ostenson, in 2013. A celebration of Noma's life will be held at Brown's Funeral Home on Saturday, September 6, at 11AM. Donations may be made to the Camas/Washougal Soroptimist Club.
