I knew Riiley as he was a driver for the Gresham Barlow School District. I was able to work with him for several years finally realizing that if we fed him sausage first thing in the morning, we could get him to do anything...like take something to one of our schools. Riley became a good friend and I actually spoke with him last January when our mutual friend Dominique passed away suddenly. He was a great man and always had my back. Prayers to the family as you go thru this difficult time. Riley will be missed.

To all the family of Riley Calkins, We were so deeply saddened by the news of Rileys passing. We are so very sorry and our thoughts & prayers are with you all.Riley was such a good person. We were neighbors of Judy & Rileys at one point. We could almost set our clocks by him,as each evening he went for his walk. We admired his commitment-rain or shine. He also stopped to visit with everyone along the way.It was often the highlight of our day.He will certainly be missed. Judy we were blessed to know you both & are glad we have stayed in touch. When you called with the news, you were so strong. Riley would be very proud of you. We will talk to you soon & please know you are in our hearts & thoughts.God Bless You. Larry & Carol

After working with Riley a few years back, I can attest to his passion for perfectionism. When given a job to do, you could count on Riley to complete it properly and in record time. Reconnecting with Riley after retiring was enjoyable. Having him come to the coast and taking him on his first ATV riding experience was great. Even when we flipped over, Riley enjoyed the trip. Anxious for another attempt at keeping it upright, there were plans to hit the sand dunes the next visit down here. RIP my friend. Daron

Our sincerest thoughts and prayers go out to all friends and family members of Riley. It's hard to know what to say and picking the right words are so difficult. Nothing we say can ease the pain you are enduring. Know that we are thinking of you all during this time.

My condolences to the family. May you find comfort in the love and memories shared together. It is my hope that Jesus' promise of the resurrection found in the Bible book of Acts 24:15 will help you to endure the loss of your loved one, Riley.
