Mrs. Woodworth, or "Woody" as she was oftentimes know, was one of my 7th grade teachers, and I was also in her homeroom, at Camas Junior High in 1963. She had a very positive effect upon me as a teacher, one who was always very encouraging and supportive. During the 7th grade (early 1964), my family and I moved to Portland, although I continued to be in Camas most every weekend to see grandparents and other family members and friends. I telephoned her often to keep her apprised of what I was doing, and David Hays and I visited her and her husband Lloyd often in Fern Prairie. Rest in peace, Mrs. Woodworth! Thom M. Armstrong
