Obituary of Mitchell Brown

Mitchell M. Brown passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 in Vancouver. Born on February 23, 1926 in Sidney, Montana, Mitchell was 82 years old. A graduate of Issaquah High School in Seattle, Mitchell earned a Bachelor's Degree in Forestry from Washington State University. He worked for the US Forestry Service before moving to Camas. Mitchell lived the last 46 years in Camas, where he worked for Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill in Camas for 35 years before his retirement. He enjoyed watching baseball, and attending Portland Beavers games at Civic Stadium. Mitchell is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years Harriet at home, son Gordon Brown of Camas, daughter Sally James of Vancouver, brother Ernest Brown of Renton, sister Lucille Bonaparte of San Francisco, and several nieces and nephews. There will be no public service. Inurnment will be held at the Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
