Dear Diann, I am so sorry to hear about Carl's passing so late. Diann, he was the most loving person I've ever known. I have so many warm and happy memories of being with you and Carl and your family. Carl was kind and wise and strong. Both you and Carl helped me so much when I lived in Camas. I want you to know I am keeping you in prayer. I hope I get to visit you again sometime. My love to you and Ron and Mark, Norene

I was out of town July 3 through July 12 and was unaware of Carl's passing until I was informed by a friend on Saturday July 12. I am quite saddened by his leaving us but have great memories of his coaching and the trips we took with our boys to see the Mariners play. He had a joy and and an enthusiasm for life and I will always carry the sound of his laugh with me. Tom Wallenborn

It was a privilege to have had "Mr." Zollo as a teacher in ninth grade algebra and to have known him throughout high school. His enthusiasm for the subject and his interest in his students was unsurpassed. Rare are individuals with such integrity and dedication. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Though I live far away now, I will always remember Mr. Zollo! His math classes were the best! Also, he never got mad at me for "picking" his flowers "secretly" to make May baskets and deliver them throughout the neighborhood. A great educator and a gentleman. My condolences to that family, God bless! Sincerely Kathy Schwary and family

Mark, Stacy, Brody - My heartfelt sympathy to you all in the loss of your Dad and Grandpa. I know all too well how difficult it is to lose a Dad. But I also know and believe that as is the case with my Dad, your Dad's struggle on this earth is over and his soul and health are now restored. Take good care of each other. My love, thoughts and prayers are with you.

My sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Mr. Carl Zollo. Mr. Zollo was my Algebra teacher at Camas High School. I did not really like math and did not think I could do it. Mr. Zollo made Algebra interesting and fun. He showed me that I could do it. Mr. Zollo always showed that he liked teaching and all students were special and important. He is one of my High School Teachers I still remember and admire. Sincere Sympathy, Sue Ochs Class of 1964

Dear Mrs. Zollo, I was saddened to read of Carl's passing and want to send my best wishes to you. I knew Carl when we were both students at Linfield College, after WWII, and also fraternity brothers in Tau Delta Sigma, where I was president when he joined us. He was highly regarded by our members and students and always willing to participate in everything. He will be missed by us as well as those who's lives were touched by him in the many ways
