Emil Joseph Teczar passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 in Vancouver, Washington. Born on February 14, 1922 in Ware, Massachusetts, Emil was 86 years old.
A Vancouver resident since 1971, Emil was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He is survived by his daughters Claire Drake of Vancouver, Susan Blystone of Camas, Nancy Teczar of Ridgefield, and Jayne Garney of Charlton, Massachusetts, sister Clara Petracone of Ware, Massachusetts, special companion Terri Bowerman, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Gregory Teczar in 1983.
There will be a private family service. Vault interment was held at Brush Prairie Cemetery.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
