Andrus, Trevor & Chris~ We are deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the tragedy that you are now experiencing...we know that our condolences cannot take away your pain or suffering, but we are prayerful that through your faith and in the embrace of loving family and friends, you find solace and comfort; may knowing that your/our dear Melissa--exceptional wife, mother and friend-- will be waiting upon our arrival at heaven's gate also bring you comfort. Her gentle, kind, sensitive, and caring manner will remain imprinted on our hearts forever. Although our contact has been infrequent since our "King's Way-basketball-summer boating with the Pahns" days, Melissa touched our hearts and lives in an extraordinary way throughout the years...and for that, we feel so extremely blessed. We mourn with you and keep you all in our thoughts & prayers. With love and our deepest sympathy~ Ralph, Debbie & Jared

Andy - I was so very saddened when I heard of your loss. I haven't seen you for some time, but I remember from working with you at Pru what a great relationship you & Melissa had. Your children are growing and (mine are grown now) they will always miss their mother but must have wonderful memories of her & the love you have in your family. Please know that my family is praying for all of you - that you may be comforted in knowing that you will meet again. With kindness, Lynn

Melissa was one of my supervisors at the VA when I was a student there five years ago. She really touched me with her gentle, kind way and helped me to be a better person and OT through her example. I will miss her very much. She was very loved at the VA and she always talked about her great husband and her wonderful boys. She lived life fully and I will remember her always. Love, Jennifer Kennedy
