Allan Frederick Whitsitt passed away on Friday, October 10, 2008 in Vancouver, Washington. Born on September 15, 1948 in Portland, Oregon, Allan was 60 years old.
A lifetime Vancouver/Portland resident, Allan was a former restaurant owner located in Mazatlan, Mexico. He enjoyed wood carving, satirist writing, traveling, and being a wildlife artist.
Allan is survived by his loving companion of twenty years Diane Fouts at home, son Taylor Whitsitt, stepdaughters Jennifer, Renee, and Sarah, and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 22nd at the Fourth Plain Nazarene Church in Vancouver. Interment was at the Venersborg Cemetery in Brush Prairie.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas was entrusted with arrangements.
