Obituary of Betty Brown

Loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Betty "Pat" Brown passed away on October 22, 2008 at 5:30 am. She was born in Lacey, WA, lived a short stint in Livingston, Montana, and moved to Camas in 1956. Though she spent the remaining years of her life in Camas, her favorite place to escape was to her property in Ocean Park, WA. She was a long standing member of the Camas Moose Lodge, and Ocean Park Eagles, and enjoyed crossword puzzles, her rose garden, and feeding the birds and squirrels. Survivors include her children Ester "Rusty" Barber, Kirby Lott, Cherie Snow, Susie Hawley, Cindy Kowalski, Ginger Glotfelty, Kelly Utehs, 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bob" Brown. She will be missed by many in both communities as she has left behind many friends. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, October 28th at 2:30 pm at the Washougal Cemetery. A Celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, November 1st at 2:00 pm at The Big Foot Tavern: 105 Pendleton Way in Washougal. Memorials in her honor may be sent to the Southwest Washington Medical Center Pulmonary Department: PO Box 1600, Vancouver, WA 98668. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
