WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER ED AS ONE OF THE MOST FUN LOVING PEOPLE IN OUR CLASS. HE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR ALL HIS FRIENDS, AND HAD A ZEST FOR LIFE. HE WAS A JOKER, MUCH OF THE TIME, BUT ALSO CARED FOR US ALL. HE WILL BE REMEMBERED BY ALMOST EVERYONE AS "FAST PITCH EDDIE" HE WAS A TERROR ON THE MOUND. AS A CLASS, WE MOURN THE LOSS OF A FRIEND, AS A SCHOOL, WE MOURN A FALLEN PELICAN. GOD SPEED ED, WE WILL MISS YOU AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR THOUGHTS.

I am so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family. Ed is part of my earliest school memories as we were in first and second grade classes together. One of the small group of rowdy boys I can still see him being shaken by Mrs. Holly. Her typical punishment and one Ed would smile through...I can see that big smile right now.

I was very sorry to hear of the loss of Ed. He and I played with and against each other in baseball for years growing up in Klamath Falls. He pitched a no hitter against my all star team in little league for the championship. We rode bikes as little kids and hung out together as we lived pretty close to each other for awhile. I am very sorry to hear of his passing and I hope his family is recovering from this untimely loss. Ed was always happy when I knew him. He smiled when we won and when we lost. A truly well thought of person. Doug Shae

I was heartbroken to hear about Ed. I have known Ed since grade school as he played baseball with my brother, Tom. I will always remember his sense of humor and love for life. We had good times in school at Mazama and KU. I am so very glad I got to spend time with him at our reunion last year and renew our friendship. I only wish I had known he was ill, as I would have come straight away to see him. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him, and he will always hold a special place in my heart.

Dear Betty; You probably don't remember me. I am the Hospice volunteer who helped you out at lunchtime. It was a few months ago but you may remember I was the one with the cats. We had many pleasant talks about animals as well as your children and family history. My prayers are with you. Pat Burton
