Jerry and Kathy, when I think of Lisa, I remember her being so bubbly, so full of life as she walked down the halls of Camas High School. There wasn't a happier gal in the class of 81...not one. I also remember how excited she was to perform with the Drill Team. She was always so skinny, which means she could jump really high during her routines and impress everyone, especially us fat chicks. She radiated purity. She sought for every Godly gift. She didn't care what others thought of her, and she didn't care to hear the latest news about others, as well; what a talent that is. What an incredible example she was. When I hear her name being mentioned I have a beautiful vision of her in my mind, the vision of Lisa Duley that I have always carried. She made the world a brighter place to live. And now, heaven has another bright shining star. When I gaze into the sky I often think of the Savior, marveling at his creations. Now, another star has been added to eternity. Heaven must be grand, for Lisa is there. May the Lord bless you all in this difficult time. With deepest sympathy, Lisa Gamble

I met Lisa through a mutual friend, Amy Meeker. I last saw her when we were both working for the State of Oregon maybe five years ago. We were glad to see each other and she seemed quite happy at the time. I liked her very much. She was funny and fun to be around. My deepest sympathy goes out to Lisa's family and friends. If at all possible, I would like Amy Meeker to have my email and phone number, 503-551-1554. It would be so nice to talk to her and tell her how sorry I am. Sincerely, Jennifer Ferrell

Dear Family and friends, I worked with Lisa at Holiday Retirement. She sat next to me. She was a very fun, lively person. She often confided in me that all she wanted in life was to spend time with her family and grandchildren. She felt that her calling was to raise her grandchildren daily while the parents worked to improve their lives. She was very generous and always took time to listen to others and offer words of support. She definitely was loved and touched many lives in her short stay in this world. Thank you for sharing her with the world. I know she is at peace in a beautiful place waiting to live in eternity with all of you.
