Robert John Herschler peacefully passed away at his home in Camas on Saturday, March 28, 2009. Born on March 10, 1923 in Portland, Oregon, Robert was 86 years old.
A Camas resident for 60 years, Robert was a Veteran of the United States Navy who served during World War II. He was a graduate and Alumnus of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and worked as a chemist in a research lab.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Janet at home, daughters Rebecca Turner of Boise, Idaho, Cynthia Herschler of Bellevue, Washington, and Jennifer Herschler of Caldwell, Idaho, two grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
There will be no public services. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
